A blood stem cell transplant is a powerful beacon of hope for a cure, yet challenges like graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) demand our unwavering strength and resilience. GVHD arises when donor cells mount an attack on a person’s organs and tissues, posing serious threats to health and recovery.
For years, dedicated organizations have relentlessly championed the cause of those diagnosed with GVHD. United as the GVHD Alliance, we are now stronger, louder, and more determined than ever to create profound change. Beyond raising critical awareness of this serious chronic illness, the GVHD Alliance empowers patients to take command of their health, forge meaningful connections, and reclaim control over their care and wellbeing.
