About Us
The International Waldenstrom's Macroglobulinemia Foundation (IWMF) is a patient-founded and patient-driven international nonprofit organization with a simple but compelling vision and mission.
Our Vision: A World without Waldenstrom’s Macroglobulinemia (WM).
Our Mission: Support and educate everyone affected by Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia (WM) to improve patient outcomes while advancing the search for a cure.
Who We are Today: We are a WM community–funded nonprofit, 16,000 members strong, serving people across the United States and the world. We come from different backgrounds and speak different languages—but we are united by a shared commitment to better outcomes and a cure. Every educational program, every connection to expert care, and every research breakthrough we help spark is possible because our community shows up—with generosity, grit, and heart.
